no it’s really good please finish reading everything gets better and there loving towards each other i personally think it’s very good written
Same i cant get past the first chapters
i couldn't start it for the life of me but i picked it up randomly at 4am and i didnt go to sleep until i finished it. literally got so hooked and i was sobbing my ass off during some chapters. trust its so worth reading it and i felt super happy with the ending it was so satisfying
Maybe don’t read from the beginning?
I don’t remember ever reading the whole thing, I don’t even think I read the beginning and I didn’t really read a good chunk of it, but read enough to be satisfied and not become overly annoyed with the story.
It doesn’t work for everybody, but it worked for me to enjoy it that way.
I did the same for Beware the full Moon in March. I didn’t really read season 1, only got the gist of it from the comments, but started from season 2 onwards and I don’t feel like I necessarily need to read season 1.

the best advice i can give you is:
don't read litc expecting romance, because it's one of the last things you're gonna get from it
it's a psychological slowburn with a lot of angst and trauma, read it for the characters, not for the relationship between them
it’s only one sided towards the middle of the story because the beginning neither of the two mains necessarily like each other. and then towards the middle-end it’s less one-sided if i’m remembering correctly. lots of ups and downs but the plot is phenomenal and the payoff is worth it. and this is coming from someone who despises angst
can someone convince me to read it because all I keep seeing is one sided shit from cirrus or whatever his name is and i dont fw that..
