True, and it's technically the system that determines right and wrong, good and evil. Like u say the things revolutionaries do is by definition fucked up because the ruling ppl r the ones who define it. Im sure if this story took place after he toppled everyone and was recovering from trauma and learning to love (assuming he didnt somehow go to jail), readers would have a much easier time excusing his "fall from grace" since he wouldve already "set things right." As for current political climate... I feel like it's more "even a dumpster fire was at first just a dumpster" oof
not to be like… weirdly woke on the queer smut website that is mangago, but i feel like this manhwa is an inadvertent representation of the current global sociopolitical climate. all issues boil down to the inherent classist system set in place by the elite. corruption is rampant globally, whether it be outwardly expressed or hidden underneath the guise of “democratic processes”. the MC understanding that he literally has to play the fucking system from the inside out just shows that deconstructing a system built on evil requires BEING evil to repair the damage. whether that evil is literally going into the system to take it down from the inside, or creating “societal chaos” in order to destroy what’s already existing. again, it’s that concept of how peaceful protests show outward distaste for governmental actions and beliefs, but real change is fucking shit up revolutionaries enough for change to happen, either on a societal or inside governmental level.
