Not sure if this is just an atheist hot take, but wishing for someone's death does nothing. It harms no one. Neither does celebrating it after the fact. You can throw a party today and it will bring no harm to the world. You're free.

    This isn’t really atheist it’s more nihilistic cause regardless of whether you celebrate or wish it really means nothing in the general scheme of things

    Woagh philosophy time. I guess it's both in this scenario, since we're talking about wishing, but I wouldn't call myself a nihilist in general. Like, I believe your actions matter and can change the world, but beliefs, thoughts, wishes and prayers aren't really actions.

    Yeah you’re right in some part they go hand in hand but I think the idea itself is nihilistic, even if you aren’t generally
