I think how it works is that alphas mark omegas but can only mark one person however the omegas mark is what’s more important they can mark whoever they want. I think I’m confusing myself w this..

From what I remember from Kiss me liar is that when the omega (don't come at me I don't remember their names lmao) lost his memory his mark disappeared & only returned when he regained them bc he wanted it. This is what has me the most confused.
So would this imply that Josh's mark not disappearing is bc he wants it?

The marking system seem to be very convoluted and not 100 percent consistent. But in this story what is revealed is that an alpha can mark an omega, but the omega could be remarked by a different alpha. If an alpha is marked, that's it, the deal is done forever. The omega also seams to have minimal reaction to the pheromones of other alphas if marked. Which is why Josh had no issue with Grayson, but is dying everytime Chase is within 20 feet of him.

Can someone explain how the mark works here again. I thought they both needed to want it for it to last? Like Chase doesn't even remember marking him but it's been what 5 years & Josh is still marked? Bc that's what he covers with the bandage right?
