In Chapter 25, his brother is sent to see him and delivers a phone from the main family branch. The phone has a message from them threatening to harm his family if he doesn't comply:
"Make sure to fully charge this phone and check it often. If you do not respond to our texts, tell Lord Mugo about this phone, or try to run away your family will be in danger. I hope that everything is clear"
In Ch 26 we find out what they want him to do. Another message says:
"Report to us about Lord Mugo's Daily activities everyday"
This threat is wrapped around Ja-Heon's need to be a perfect sacrifice. He resigned himself to the role to protect his family who would be punished if Ja-Heon was "damaged" in any kind of way. So it broke him and he made himself think he was happy to be a sacrifice (even though he wasn't). So to avoid the hell he felt in his old life he begs Sir Mugo to kill him. When he refuses to kill him and says about him being free, Ja-Heon has a mental break down. He thinks Mugo sees him as brief amusement that he'll forget about. That he lived his life to be a sacrifice and it means nothing. He didn't get to have an identity outside of that so he feels like he never truly existed.
Now Jerk Mugo and Monster Mugo say they want him to stay and he feels a connection with Mugo. He's been on kinda a whirlwind bender that he has forgotten and his phone hasn't been near him either cause the little blobbo's have been carrying it around.
