Snake are cold blooded animals, how would him covering the eggs would help them hatch? But then again maybe they don't need heat to begin with? Idk but I liked this chapter

Snakes like pythons cover their eggs not to provide internal warmth, but to protect them and maintain a stable environment, which includes both moisture and external heat. These maternal snakes bask in the sun to absorb heat, then return to their egg clutches to transfer this warmth, acting as an external incubator to ensure proper embryo development and a higher survival rate for their offspring.

No, snake eggs need heat to hatch. If you leave them out in cold, they're not gonna hatch.

Some snakes coil around their eggs in their borrow to maintain the pretty high temperature and humidity for the eggs to hatch while still moving very little since having them roll around will lead to their deaths... some other species just leave them covered and hope for the best though haha also actual snake eggs hatch in a couple of months, these... i dont know lol
