I doubt it. Dohyon hid the chains so he can find the perfect opportunity to escape. There was one scene where he knew if he rebelled he knew yellow eyes will react violently

No I doubt it. Even if yellow eyes knew he would just think that dohyun was plotting to escape and gets angry. Even though the chains are broken, there's still no escape. But yellow eyes might be more angry that dohyun was plotting to escape behind his back
