Because...there is no true main character. Everyone is the main character in the author's world but they could only focus on so many people. I think Jihyun definitely needed more focus into his past and discussion about the childhood molestation stuff because we don't ever find out if tells anyone else other than just believing he's been mentally ill from birth rather than groomed. Plus there's the relationship he still has with his mother and that wasn't explored but still, each character's stories just had a lot to unpack and the author probs just got carried away while doing season 2 because the big bro's lore takes the longest.
This pisses me off so bad the MAIN COUPLE got like 40 chapters and the side couple got the same amount if not more?? And what happened to the MCs past?? They spent like ten chapter going through yousefs past and the MCs was js like two panels.. plus the supposedly lesbian couple like why not just make yousef the main couple atp bro
