Maybe because he treated Dan horrendously and still hasn’t given him an actual apology?? And aint nobody even mentioned those two shitheads. Either way just because they did worse than jaekyung, doesn’t make jaekyung’s actions any more excusable/better. Instead of comparing him to decent men, you compare him to two dudes who raped and almost killed their lovers.

He's NOT a decent man, not right now anyway. That's literally the point of the story. That's literally the point of the subgenre Jinx exists in. It's up to the author to decide how far to take the story and how she'll redeem the characters. People literally read toxic tops for the "redemption moment" cause it's exhilarating.
But if it's not your cup of tea, why are you in the comments bitching about it 77 CHAPTERS INTO THE STORY???

Who the fuck are you even talking about. Never have energy for other toxic tops are you fucking illiterate or did you ignore the parts where I say they all deserve worse. And legitimately why do you think I give a single fuck if jinx is popular I'm here reading it so obviously I want to be here I can still think this mf is a piece of shit. You do realise if an author makes people hate their character they've done their job properly. Do you think people only read stories where they live every single character no because that's fucking stupid

Lmao... You're acting like you HAVE to be here. We're at the point in the story that the Toxic Top is entering his redemption era and you're huffing and puffing in the comments... You know you're not legally required to read this right? No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to click on the new updates.
And for all your talk on literacy, you seem to have no reading comprehension, cause how is the latest chapter not a clear sign that JJK is heading in the right direction

Your way of thinking is extremely flawed. When an author releases their work to the public, they are inviting discussion, interpretation, and yes, criticism. That's the nature of publishing creative work. If the portrayal of a character, especially one involved in toxic or abusive behavior, is written in a way that downplays, romanticizes, or mishandles that behavior, people are absolutely within their rights to call it out.
And pointing that out is not an attack, it's engaging with it. Holding stories accountable doesn’t mean demanding perfection; it means asking for responsibility, especially when the work deals with serious issues that could potentially affect the way of thinking of actual 15 year olds that you’re assuming all the people who are mature enough to recognize that this behavior is clearly reckless and wrong to be.

I'm sorry, but approaching stories like this, that's are intentionally written to be be toxic (to then allow for the redemption and all that bla bla), from the perspective that it should be censored or changed in order to make it more palatable and "moral" for the children that might come across it is wrong.
Adult spaces shouldn't be curated for kids, it's not for them.
And just bkoz a work depicts violence/abuse doesn't mean it romanticizes it. There are some toxic top stories that could apply in. But this isn't one of them.
Why are y'all giving Jaekyung such a hard time? But I bet y'all love Caesar and Zhenya. Morons
