Life and death situation => high adrenaline temporary destroyed Josh's brain to mouth filter. Add his bold flirty nature and that he got the hots for Chase for quite some time. That was at least what I thought it was in the novel.
You read the novel, don't you remember how often Josh thought about kissing Chase, thinking about his beautiful face etc. or what he thought when he tried to wake Chase up for his nightmare, were Chase passed out before anything serious could happen?
Even i read the novel, i still don’t understand how it lead to the conversation of ‘can I kiss you?” “Should we sleep?” Anybody kind enough to explain this to my dumb dumb brain?
