The abuse isnt always that obvious. He is manipulative in a way he seduce him with candies and cookies, normalizing kissing and holding hands between them since they were young. He abused his power to take control of ukes life so that he cant marry someone else. He didnt lock anyone. He didnt need to because he literally closed every chance uke had with others. This saddens me because i recently watched documentary about victim who spoke about his abuser. And the abuser used "exctly this way" to seduce kids, first by making them normalize certain stuff. Yes, this seme "loves" uke or "obsessed" with it but he groomed him. Nothing about him is Green flag because he had the control in this relationship. As emperor, he also has bonus power to manipulate or force others to control "the life of uke" the way he decided it is good for him. This is grooming. This is abuse.

Compared to the other manga, most semes look Green. We are used to red flags, black flags semes so we find their manipulative behavours as acceptable. Its okay to enjoy the story but we should be aware of the problematic stuffs.
Also i think i explained myself pretty clear in previous message so you can lighten the abuse all you want. And about the case i mentioned, yes that case was darker. Yes, the criminal was adult. But its about self awareness. Yes semd is child in that scene when he first "kidnapped" uke. But his mind wasnt portrayed like a child. He was aware of right and wrong. He used the power. He didnt just stop at child. He somehow remain unchanged, like 17 years. Story is trying deliver this in a comedic way But i personally felt very uncomfortable for the reasons i already mentioned.
Doesn't change the fact even if he thought like an adult, he still was a kid who wasn't guided properly. His thought process made u look like an adult cuz he from the childhood had the whole empire responsibility on his shoulder where acting or behaving like a child wasn't programmed neither no one ever taught him. He was made to "rule", to control the ppl w his "power" and not to act like a normal human w them. He delivered what he was taught, which made it hard for him cuz it became a big barrier on how he should express his feelings to uke, he just knew he "liked" him so he must win him he wasn't taught how normal couples behave w eo even when he turned adult. Yes he was child but the thing is, author didnt give him "the mind of child". Thats what i mean. i also am used to manipulative semes and all, but like i said, it reminded me of real life gr*omers. Replying to say that yes kids (teens) often groom younger kids. Even though they may not completely understand the consequences of what they’re doing it happens. I can attest bc it happened to me, starting at 4 by a relative who was 13-14, and it is deeply scarring, even though I am now in my late 20s. Kids can be groomers, though not as cognisant of its impact as adults.
Omg I am so sorry hunny yeah ppl often brush off grooming between children but that can shape the whole life of a child and send them onto a dark place I hope ppl can wake up and realize that abuse has no age or gender

Being honest I have read so many manwhas and this feels like the first time where the ml who is obsessed w mc is planning everything correct without harming the uke a lil bit. Other manwahs ml threaten their uke, lock them up, abuse them or secretly marry and then uke get to know all that shi through media or someone else. They "fake" date others and then try to manipulate uke a.k a try to make them "understand" what they are doing is for their own happy ending... while This seme from the start w persistence for 17 yrs planned everything out, didn't even let the mc feel a lil bit of sadness.
