if I got a dollar every time i read about an individual who falls in love with a ghost because they lack the ability to connect with living people in a meaningful way only for that ghost to help them make meaningful connections with the people around them all the while the lingering understanding that a relationship between a living and a dead can't really last forever and will inevitably end in feelings of sadness and angst and yearning hangs over the wholesome plotline
