I could imagine a plot point happening where the psychic guy continues to gain powers and eventually is able to alter reality or move to other universes (or whatever) and there being a whole thing where the psychic guy agrees with the mc that they are stuck in a bl world and asks him if he wants to leave or change things but the mc is conflicted because he has grown to love this world and ultimately decides to stay/not change things.
