Judging by that title, Carl either didn't do smack or he's gonna die, no in between I still don't understand what's happening like why everyone keep switching up their personalities there's no gradual change its just shit happens and a reaction from the characters that got me going ???
If you read novel you can feel the gradual change, novel is much deeper but it's too much , I mean I am taking way more breaks compared to others... After reading novel I realised manhwa was just a shell...

If you don't mind, could you share some details that were unclear/excluded from the manhwa adaptation! I'm contemplating to read the novel or not

I mean the story line is same but thoughts , interactions are more detailed and in depth, like you can feel the story properly, I only read upto this point so I can't say how it is further, but as I read both I realised how dry manhwa seems

agree, the manhwa loses alot of monologue, flashback and the translation might also contributed how dry it is. i feel like the artist didnt properly follow each line in novel so it feels so empty and the dialogue feels so awkward
