Is the novel complete or still ongoing, translation wise?
Transitions are still ongoing. There is 193 chapter translated out of 244 chapters (the novel is completed)
Aight, than u sm! I haven't actually read this manhwa, was just reading comments before diving in, good thing i saw yours so i can check the novel first.
So everybody has been hating on the FL for being weak and a crybaby, and
I’m here to say—you’ll regret that hate.
Spoiler alert:
In the novel, the FL has an incredibly tragic life. She was mentally and physically abused by her parents to the point where she developed body dysmorphia and severe PTSD. Her mother groomed her into believing she was a hideous monster. As a child, she was kidnapped and almost assaulted—twice: once as a teenager and once as an adult. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
As for the male lead, don’t judge him for being a “red flag,” “gray flag,” or whatever label you want to put on him. As some of you may have guessed, he actually regressed in time. In the first timeline, after returning from war, he discovered that the only person he ever loved and cherished had been beheaded for his sake. I won’t even go into the horrific details of what happened to her body afterward.
The ML took revenge—his basically went like : “Let the world burn. I’ll let the world burn for you.” And then he did everything in his power to bring her back. (Traumatizing)
So yeah, this story is really heavy. And if, after all this, you still hate the FL? “There’s the door, b*tch.”
