this author can't pull the slowburn, i think that's why you think they have no chemistry. this story has zero development even though all the readers know about the two characters who will eventually get together. like ZERO zero. unless they write something incredibly stupid, we still have at least 30 chapters before any kind of intimacy between these two
Nah I’m with you but I’m also not used to high school stories or slow burns so it’s simply not my cup of tea. It’s wayyyy too slow even for shonen ai. It’s nothing like the other stories..I drop it and have a look in 20 or so chapters.
if you haven't, please have a look at Melting Point. that author knows how to write proper slowburns. this one is a high school essay next to that

I mean, other slowburn stories got some spark going on, but when I read this story, I dont feel butterflies for them. I only see them as buddies and childhood friends. Cant imagine them kissing or falling in love or being romantic at all, im sorry
