He's obsessed with Jay in a good way :)
I think he’s somehow his ‘uncle’ through some sort of relation with his mother… an uncle in spirit and name, rather than my blood. But you always acted like an uncle, so being acknowledged as one as a big deal for him.
The uncle is insecure about their relationship because they’re both outcasts to the family so he doesn’t feel like he’s deserving of the uncle title but the irony is that Jay himself has always referred to him as his uncle because despite presenting himself as super stoic and uncaring he genuinely cares for him and thinks of him as family
Uncle is related to Jay on his dad’s side (Chapter 69) so they are related by blood. Everything else is correct though, he’s proud to be called Uncle lol
Ah ok oops, I just had it in my head that there was some reason that made it less obvious that he’d be thought of as his uncle but I guess Jays lack of relationship with his dad would do it
I feel like there's a gap in my memory, I somehow can't grasp why he's making it a big deal that Jay's calling him uncle?
