I’m the wrong person to ask because I don’t know all of the details. Lol But, apparently, after Flashlight dropped the author of Shutline unfollowed Yangma on social media and started subbing her (saying slick shit that was obviously directed towards Yangma). Yangma tried to ignore it, but then she started getting harassed, accused of plagiarism, and threatened with legal action. To appease the author of Shutline, she decided to change storylines and gradually start changing the design of the MC and ML, but this still didn’t satisfy them enough, and she was still getting harassed and threatened, so she decided to come out and let everyone know what was being done to her. She said she’d leave it up to the fans to decide if she should discontinue the manhwa. She got a lot of support from fans, though, who realize the Shutline author was being ridiculous. This all came out weeks ago. I’m not caught up on any of the recent news on this, and some of my details may be wrong!
Sure isn’t the first and won’t be the last. That’s why I don’t get the drama. Broke Korean MC, white, blonde ML, set in the US, and they’re both buff guys. Well, I just described Walk on Water. Should Jaxx be suing the author of Shutline for plagiarism? smh
