
Well to be fair, considering a lot of BL's follow that trope/romanticize grooming I can't blame them for having that mindset. At some point you see it so often of course you're gonna roll you're eyes and say again? Hopefully it goes a different route, but it's literally a bl and they're probably gonna be soul mates or some shit from a past life. So it genuinely would not surprise me that when that little boy grows up the tiger deity will fall in love with him vice versa.

the soul mates thing is exactly how this is playing out—that's why we're getting flashbacks of their past in the form of dream sequences. And I'm very much aware of the ridiculously glamorized groomer trope within many BLs, but I'm saying their first encounters show no indication of grooming going on so no sense calling it that this early on
ain't nobody being groomed, it's just a mountain god literally saving a child who was in danger and trying to make sure he gets back to his grandma. let the story progress before you jump the gun you fucking dorks
