Feels like the phenomenon also affects animals? Like fluffy, cause the others still act as humans with animal features but fluffy act more like a dog that have human features. Well Dog to human is pretty common here ig, there's even one when they love their human so much they got a wish to turn into human.
Feels like Q is experimenting with that thing for cure, it's either the source of the virus, or a human fully evolve but leaning on the virus cause that one ain't look like any animal, more like those little microscopic living organisms
