I like him even more ngl, it shows his claws is finally coming out, especially after all the 1st prince and empress have done to torment him
Fate is cruel, the empress manipulated her son, tormented perez and other people in general all her life and now all of it is coming to bite her back through the same son. She has piled up so much karma that not only empress but her son is also getting punished.
The first prince prince is ignorant. And uses his power to be cruel, crude and makes no effort to do anything for himself. Hes arrogant and willingly leans on his mothers power to do whatever it takes to raise his position. Hes thebtype that would never learn his lesson and would just keep coming back over and over unless perez went this far. Im glad he did.
Also, through her son is the best way to get at the empress. Her whole villian origin story relies on making astana king. Takig him out is the biggest blow they couldve given to her!
That was so cruel of perez I can't like him anymore...I mean i'd understand punishing that queen cos she's actually evil but the prince was just a pushover being controlled by his mother and in the end he's suffering....too cruel imo
