it happened to me too!! i was reading room for renewal (you should definitely read it if u like this kind of genre) and people kept saying it was trash but when i read the novel i LOVED it. Whenever a story is toxic people start exaggerating everything and giving it story low ratings

I’m not sure if this is about my spoilers but i’m NOT biased at all I absolutely LOVEEE yohan and Jun and their chemistry and relationship, but the bullying does get pretty bad.
That happened to me too! I've read the spoilers from The S-Class Guide as Sweet as Honey, and people were really annoyed by how rushed the chasing arc was and how it wasn't similar to the novel, but to be honest, I freackin love the manhwa rushed version cuz I couldn't stand the misunderstandings anymore!
it was mtl i still have the epub in case you want it. there are a few chapters in novelupdates tho and also in novelight (i don’t like that site, it has pop ups)

At least for now it looks like we'll be able to see a bit more of the ml's feelings, cuz it was showing him actually caring for the mc and putting him first in the last chapter (I hope I'm not giving you any spoilers)

From my experience spoilers are always biased, bad rated spoilers are usually made by people who dont love these kinds of genre in the first place. They disliked the theme, so they’ll make it seem worse than it actually is. So if you genuinely like messed up stuffs imo theres a big chance you’ll actually like the story lol that happened with “the foul” and several more manhwas for me.
