everyone's saying that "horus breaking the mirror might be freeing her" and this and that, but at the end of the day horus's motivations are just possessiveness and seth has had too many people try and control him and any man overpowering him to make him do or not do something just is disgusting to read. like what do you mean you are basically pinning him down with you airbending tf???? and even if seth is being tricked or is trying to go back to his safe option, he has a right to try and do that. just because horus loves seth, that doesn't give you any say in what that person does. someone could come up to you and offer their life and that sill doesn't mean you have to feel in-debt to them or do what they say. idc if horus actually loved seth him hearing him screaming "no" would stop him from going through with breaking the mirror. even if he was tempted to break the mirror that would have been fine, we all have bad impulses, but even when seth is right there panicking, his jealousy was more important to him in that moment. I would have had so much respect for horus if he was about to break the mirror, but couldn't go though with it because of how much agony it would put seth in. but no. he does exactly what people in the comments are hating on for, there is no redemption for that.

Him breaking the mirror did free her tho. You'll see in upcoming chapters. And indeed he's wrong here to lash out or be blindsided by his jealousy and immaturity but thats exactly what he needs to work out on himself afterall. His immaturity n blind devotion towards seth has always been his biggest strength and weakness at the same time and trust me horus regretted his actions the instant he did them. Also he pinned seth using his powers because if he doesnt seth wouldve attacked him and his seal wouldve broken . Remember maat put a spell on seth where the slightest bit of offense/aggression against someone would instantly end his probation period. When seth dug horus eyes out, horus didnt budge, move or block. He purposly clung to seth so that the attack by seth would appear as welcomed by him or won't be counted as aggression. He basically saved seth from having his soul destroyed or being shipped to ra's boat.
Horus is the only one who actually sees seth for who he truly is. He knows that even if seth loves him in his heart seth has yet to make him his no1 priority aka that duty bound and fiercely loyal man of honor n word would obv choose his family n son over anything else(its the very plot device thats got us where we are rn n how osiris manages to get to seth) so even tho horus deep down cherishes n respects seth at all costs he momentarily loses his cool because of his irrational fear that hes gonna get dumped + hes heavily guilty alrdy for hiding all these shi and thus acted out. Which im again saying Is wrong of him but trust me he'll redeem himself soon. Like very soon dw
I just want Seth to be happy, I genuinely hate Horus right now. Seth just found out his wife didn’t actually betray him and he loved her and Horus breaks the real her that’s trapped in the mirror?!!! Like hellooooo? I would kill him too mutherfucker that’s my wife.
