My theory is that shah amon keeps na-in by his forcefully and to keep him obedient the priests hypnotize na-in inducing memory loss
kind off. it's also because Na-In gets really suicidal and depressed like with everything going on, so Amon agrees with the rituals just to for the sake to keep him sane
i'm curious to know what's going on with the rituals ... why does everyone except for him seem to know what goes on? and the memory issues?
