Actually i don't think that'd help him. He's completely insane and his mind was broken multiple times so he doesn't really think like a human being anymore. He CANT leave Sangwoo and Sangwoo CANT leave him too. Illusional, insanely obsessions.
For those of you who actually think there is a way for them both to be in a healthy relationship with each other, you're delussional, starting because sangwoo has never felt anything about bum and bum has always been obsesed, and an obsesive mind is always clouded, but right now i just want bum to stop suffering, he's been trough enough shit already i just want peace for him and that he stays as far away as he can from sangwoo.
