i’m not one to defend rape. at the end of the day, rape is rape, it will always be a crime. this was uncomfortable as hell to read but honestly i think that’s a good writing on the author’s behalf because it was not glamorized. but let’s be for real here, we’ve had it coming. uno and enzo was never the sweet couple in the first place, they hated each other and one of them is a literal psycho. have we literally learned nothing from the past psychological bls out there? a crazy person does crazy shit, what’s new about that? it was shocking but i’ve seen it coming lol, if rape makes you uncomfortable— then easily drop the series, no one is stopping you. prioritize your sanity and don’t force yourself to read uncomfortable series. but let’s learn the difference between fetishized rape and an actual depiction of what rape is. if this media is not for you, that doesn’t mean it’s the same for everyone. learn to understand nuances.
