They were saying that if they "were" actually being serious (aka not actually joking but rly think men are the problem in this) then it would be kinda fucked up lol. It's an "if" situation, not that they were calling other people have no media literacy.

And some people can be dense not understanding the joke because well, it is just a text and how you read it is based on your own thoughts/head.
