Putting a placeholder to stop the bot from uploading new chapters and not updating the series is an ass move. Prove me wrong.

Once (I don't remember in which webtoon) a very creepy and sick shrek porn story was updated instead of the real chapter because of the bot.
But I agree that it usually hurts when you see it's a placeholder
