I mean yes, but the man has been progressively getting more and more aggressive and cold, it's not the first thing he did to MC, he's taking a lot of shit, even for someone that's been groomed, and he has another man that treats him better at that, so he's taking his sweet time opening his eyes and seeing the man he "fell in love with" doesn't really exist.
