Before either of you start patting yourself on the back, it feels like your projecting your own bias. Scroll to the bottom of the last chapter and it lists the author, artist, and translator. If they didn't use elements if their culture, whoaw culture should they use?

I might be a little too woke with this one but the story feels sooooo racist… like the clothing’s and braids are clearly inspired by Chinese and south Asian/middle eastern countries, the « barbarian» comment, the darker skin compared to the mc and her people, the random incest stereotype ?
