Im so sad

I know right!! I was seeing so much hate for him but Pen used him and discarded him like a rag :( like he sucks now, sure, but most of the characters in this manhwa have some sort of nuance, so where is the nuance in his character?

I feel like the irl story author did him dirty. He has had like, no self will, and I think Penelope thought of him as almost a potential equal/comrade or something when she chose him, thinking they’d survive together and understood that. But he like, fell for her way harder and faster for her for almost no reason and has always been kinda pathetic for no reason? Like Penelope thought too highly of him in a way. He could have been more assertive and proud, then undergone brainwashing with the same storyline, and he’d have felt more filled out. But since he was kinda pathetic from the beginning, He just feels like such a hollow character at this point for how much screen time he gets yet has had such little of his own character development outside of just being brainwashed….
