They look like a very close knit family so i guess that's why the nagged him so much, but also considering the situation i belive it's totally normal lol ! Like he basically avoided their calls giving no real sign of life lol and all that for love with a girl who rejected him back in the day ? no real plan ? realistically yeah family would get involved
