I really don't understand how he became like that. He gave up the comfort of a wealthy life for love, even in bad circumstances he was rewarded with having that love but he then just threw It away. Why? Why going after so many hardships for nothing then?

I'm guessing that, on top of the debt, the miscarriage they showed in earlier chapters was probably the biggest wedge between them... which would rlly suck, because Na Haesoo would've felt just as heartbroken about it

    How do I explain
Some people think grandiose acts of sacrifice are enough to love someone
But in the long run, in an adult world, with bills accumulating, debt increasing every month andproblems pilling up, it's where love is REALLY tested
It's easier to say you love someone when everything is going well, when you're in the beginning of something new
It's really hard to say you love someone when life keeps beating you down and nothing goes right
He sacrificed his future because he was young and everything he tried, he succeeded at, so in his mind, he'd find a way to do well even if he didn't go to college
Clearly he was wrong, because they fell into debts
My guess is that over time he shifted the blame of his failure to her
In fact, their real is really toxic exactly because he made her the center of his world
So naturally, he blames her for everything that goes wrong is his life, but at the same time he believes with a 100% certainty she could never leave him, since they've got such a long history of pain and sacrifice together
I guess it's somewhere hard to understand unless you've dealt with similar people in real life
You can't think of them as rational, they're very emotional and their logic often doesn't make sense

When you're at the age of adolescence, youre mostly emotional driven, that's why he thinks he can conquer over things by the power of love haha. But there's what we call "Will". Surprisingly, Mincheol may not have a strong will to go through such lengths when he became an adult so he tried to deviate from his ways and gradually finds himself blaming Haeso cuz reality finally kicks in. Of course, he would "do it" with all the moments he felt that theyre always at the low part of the wheels mostly, you will find choices that will make up for your life, OWN LIFE. Also taking into account that haesoo will never try to love others becuz he knows haesoo's a good girl, she has no one besides him and he knows he have done a lot for her so mincheol really took her for granted. Well jokes on u mincheol, haesoo's so beautiful, she can just find another man if she has the "will". But mincheol baby thinks he has a pussy to withstand anything, well in fact he trully has balls that csn only be kicked once and will lose the ability to be man :3 and he did lose now all(▰˘◡˘▰)

This is why I really like minshit's character. He has so much depth, and he’s able to evoke so many emotions from the reader (at least for me). He feels alive because you can trace his journey so clearly. Like in the beginning his love for Na Haesoo, that early passion and belief that love could conquer everything, the way frustration and resentment slowly build when reality starts weighing him down, and then how he gives up on the things he once worked so hard for because he’s blinded by anger. The fact that he even ends up hurting the people he loves makes him so tragically human. And when the regret finally begins to sink in, it just adds another layer to his character. He’s written so well that he doesn’t feel like a character at all. He feels like a real person.
