No I agree tbh
The reason why most artists draw two sets of ears is simply because it looks VERY weird and uncanny for a human to not have ears. Especially if the character doesn’t have long enough hair to cover the sides of their face. It’s only top tier professional artists who are able to draw characters with mid-length or short hair with animal ears.
Tbh I just read the manga Wolf Pack (the art is top tier though, I love this author) and they don't have human ears and it does look pretty natural tbh. They had a unique way of doing it with the fur coat (but even when they were almost 100% humans -the ears and tail) they still didn't have human ears. Because the hairline was pushed closer, giving it a more natural look. I definitely think it can be worked around but idk
It's a real pity when you see good art, and good premise of plot but a lot of glaring plotholes
- apparently nobody in their non human breed clan studied human anatomy? (Human male = pregante wha?)
- why do most artists always draw non humans w 2 types of ears... that's sensor overload
- when mc got drunk his clothes magically disappeared (aint that more sus than seeing a wallet)
- his dorm room better be not locked or is fingerprint/keypad lock type. I swear how did he even made it inside
Just nitpicking atp but I hate how scenes just conveniently go ur way like...that makes the comic looks amateurish
