thanks for responding, and ugh
i felt this in s1 and nothing i'm seeing is dissuading me from the thought that redhead is the real main character bc the author clearly seems to favor him. Dochan got like 2 chapters in the entirety of s1 and mc seemed to be only there for redhead to torture, he had very little depth other than what was tied into redhead/redhead's family, and now that redhead doesn't have anything to do with them they're just. not in the story.
imma be honest i don't really care if he became a bottom, it actually kinda icks me out bc it's sort of feels like 'rapists can redeem themselves/be punished by taking it' (which is something I've definitely seen in other manhwa/manga)
what a shame. if redhead had been a throwaway evil character who left in the first ten chapters this would have been a great story.
Yeah u've summarized really well what's wrong with this story. Like at this point, I'm just reading to find out wth "arts manz" means, who the protagonist is, and tbh just wth is going on. And with this last ch, black hair guy expecting redhead to "realize i slept with him cuz i like him," like be fr. My fed upness is very quickly putmaneuvering my curiosity :/
feisty is fine. i'm not at all saying everything has to be fluffy bc some of my favorite couples are enemies-to-lovers--when it's done well. i don't even care that redhead has a shit personality bc that's room for growth. but i draw the line at blackmailing/intimidating someone for sexual favors. i'm just not interested in a character who does that shit.
The redhead is definitely not the main character, it's just that this is the 2nd season so the 2nd couple gets more screentime but even then we have a lot of scenes and events happening in between with the main couple (first, Woojin stirring up jealousy in the couple, then the ex barging in and the whole backstory of his past relationship with ml, and now mc being part of the company's project plus this perverted ahjussi getting interested in him)...So Joohyuk (redhead) and his love story are indeed given more exposure, but he defo is not the protagonist.
I agree 100% and the rape scene was unnecessary because it literally made no sense and even in the authors note they were like “I didn’t want an actual villain in this story like my last series” like huhhh, you made a villain wdym??
They could’ve made redhead unlikeable and left it at that, I have no clue why they went that far bc it really added nothing to the story and then tried to do that ‘redemption’ arc where they had to save the MC or something
S1 felt like the author was tormenting the mc for giggles and his relationship was def on the back burner. And now s2 they’re developing but now we’re getting random exes and creepy old men PLUS the alternating story lines. Idk it makes the development feel redundant.
If I erase s1 from my memory I actually don’t mind the second couple, but I wish the author just added them in as a separate side story because continuously going couple to couple is so annoying
no for real at this point Anti-PT's blonde dude was *less* of a villain than redhair in this story and i just do not understand what the fuck the author was talking about with all that. i must have stared at the screen for like 5 minutes after reading that in the creator's note, just, short-circuited
blondie from Anti-PT may have been an asshole but at least mc slept with him willingly, even if he did end up regretting it (which does not equal rape/blackmail/literally any of the actual crimes redhair from this story committed repeatedly)
i legit cannot rectify how good Anti-PT was compared to this fucking dumpster fire

i literally stopped reading this to let it cook after the three solid chapters of rape at the end of s1 and i come back to check on it and all the comments are about the fucking rapist
can someone spoil me, does the 'main couple' even get any screentime in the last 25 chapters??? bc if this is just the Redhair Show then i'm not really all that interested in continuing
