I think I'm having flashback about him. He ks not really an ally then.
He was the detective that brought ijin in when that one soldier was murdering people associated with corruption- jiyehs fathers men. He also helped in the human trafficking incident with Dawson's friend and his son was hit by a car that was being driven by that corrupt congressman
