I feel it's okay to have a plot like this every now and then. Not everyone needs a Batman backstory
i've been consuming too much of apocalyptic-awakened-hunter-betrayal webtoons so this kind of plot is refreshing for me

There's death and Mc feels responsible for not being able to save everyone but no-one close to him before or after monsters started appearing is going to die or get hurt
