Exactly! CH1 is a solid intro as to what readers should expect from the story. If they missed the memo, they should've taken the hint in CH13 when they saw Yesung getting felt up by the teacher. But they still clicked the next chapter, and continued to state the obvious, whine and cry. Instead of discussing theories, the intention behind the action, the foreshadowing, the art, etc... they're stuck crying and whining about the genre of the plot: extreme sadism, the antagonist being too much, smut and the BDSM aspect.
It's ch25 and the comments are still about stating the obvious: it's too explicit or the "old man" is too much for them... But these are the same people who will keep clicking "Next" for the next 100 chapters, then will keep on whining and crying foul.
Hypocritical how people are reading smut heavy on depravity and bdsm, then cry and whine that theyre seeing depravity & sadism from the antagonist.
It's like watching Gore and whining and crying that the antagonist is too Gory. Same way, this is a BDSM story heavy on immorality and depravity and you're crying and whining that the antagonist is too immoral.
This is a great story, attracting the wrong readers. For a story with themes of BDSM, depravity and smut the plot is 10/10! But HYPOCRITES keep on reading even after seeing the teacher fingering yesung... So after season 1 and we have rating dropping from 9.3 to 9.1.
Im expecting, as foreshadowed, to see Yesung being tortured like being forced to have sex with Gyol in front of the teacher, and I expect he might be high when that happens. same way, I know the same people crying and whining from Ch1-25 will continue to read then whine and cry about the same thing next season.
It's ok to state the obvious in Ch1 or CH13 at most. But either drop it if the smut, sadism and degradation truthfully make you uncomfortable, instead of crying FOUL every time you see something degrading and humiliating in a BDSM story with heavy degrading and humiliating themes.
