Exactly! I love this story but I thought maybe it's because of the translation or something but nah, it's not that.
I guess nobody knows beside that girl and husband that he is man. (Or am i mistaking cuz that's what he said in the beginning or i could be wrong. )
He did say something like this but the maid and him were alone, assuming the thought that they didn't want others to know his real gender. It makes no sense because they were having a private conversation. He also clearly looks like a man to me so, hiding his gender wouldn't do anything considering his built, voice, etc.
He has long hair he does looks delicate western women are mostly very well build and beautiful tall so it's understandable why he could disguise as woman
Or maybe that just how they address someone of they became the wife of the marquis.. we still have a long way to go, i believe. We still in chapter 11. I also believe that not all knew about eve's a man that's all i can think of why he was address that way.
