The jere shuri romantic tension(?) plotline was sooo uncomfortable to read. i think they did it to set it up for the trial but if i wasted my time reading this just for it to end in incest imma be pissed off fr. I have hope tho

nora and shuri are endgame !! there is no incest whatsoever in this story so don’t worry

jershu is unrequited, it's not really supposed to be uncomfortable and it's not incest, jeremy only ever jokingly refers to shuli as his mom and doesn't consider her his mother considering she's at max 2 years older than him. as reply above said norshu are endgame (obviously). i don't know how anyone would find it uncomfortable as its just sad on jeremys part, he doesn't see her as his mother but knows he can't have her and is now realising his father traumatised her BAD like this isn't supposed to be some incest bait, it's one of the main plot points that in both timelines jeremy loved shuli to the point of complete selflessness. it's why his relationship with shuli mirrors that of his father's and empress ludovika's. ludovika literally tells johannes "max (the king) can give me the world" and jeremy laments to nora in their fight that he can't give shu what nora can

I would have to politely disagree with it not being considered incest. I understand he doesnt consider shuri his mother and looks at her from an equal perspective, but that doesn't make him any less of a stepson. I feel like i wouldve been more comfortable with the plot point if shuri actually went through with anulling her and johannes' marriage for jeremys sake :( Thank you for providing me with your thoughts though. It is fun to have nice debates (*´∇`*)
