When Incheol leaves in the middle of the match...

This is only the 2nd time Incheol's been to the boxing match but what was different this time round? Boxer man lost both times, but this time henactually tried to defend himself before he met the ground. What was that? Why was that?

He has never bothered before. What is it about Incheol that makes Boxer man look for him. The eye contact was so intense and full of tension. Kind of an unspoken way of conveying "Keep your eyes focused on me". Even at the end of the 1st match, Boxer man looks up to see if Incheol is still watching. Something in the way Boxer man perceives Incheol has drastically shifted between these two matches. Was it the terrible blowjob? Was it the traces of cologne that lingered on his coat? Or the itch to snatch the end of the leash Incheol's collar is tied to from whoever currently has it pulled taut?

On the other hand, Incheol's situation has become abundantly clear to his own self after the bill failed to pass. Whether he manages to make this redev project a successful operation or not - it doesn't matter. Nobody has his back. Not Rep Lee, not Assistant Cha, not his ex Hyori, not anyone. He needs to turn the tables in his favour somehow if he wants to stay in the game. Because otherwise he's gonna be used and disposed by Rep Lee anyhow. Either after this project's done or the next election season.
...and then there's "Gym". I can almost feel the gears churning in his scheming brain, because I bet if there's one thing Incheol has mastered how to do over the years working as a political dog...it's how to survive.

The next chapter is going to be so good, I know it.
