I think its closer to grooming then pedophilia first cause they don't get together intill the male lead comes back as a grown adult, and I wouldn't really call it grooming cause the main character doesn't have any bad intentions to the male lead, but idk
It's more like grooming but the mc didn't do it on purpose he just want to help kids but the ml is obsessed about him I think based on ch 1 mc died and ml tried to bring him back or something, to mc all the kids are his children and disciple I don't think he have ever though in romantic sense his still trying to go back to his world
