Ummm... Actually theres lots of asians parents like that, more so if the parents were breadwinner working from scratch
Well, apparently I'm also an Asian and my parents are the best people I know. However, what I meant from my comment before is what happens in most manga/hwa/hua I read. So not Asian in general. I agree tho with ur reply since that's basically my parents ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ
i think its part of the chinese culture, yk how they like "worship your parents" so yeah..
I'm actually so proud of Xiaoyong's father bcs it's not that common in stories to see a rich parent who is actually want his son to be kind and doesn't demand anything else. I'm sick of spoiled rich babies with parents who will excuse and back up their nasty and ugly behaviors.
