Wait how sad or angsty is bongchon bride cause i was planning to read that cause i saw the top was A HUNKY SNACK please i can’t do sad endings

it’s actually quite sad especially for the uke (the backstory and that one chapter w the older brother) they all just want to be happy but there’s always someone stopping them. i love that they are not toxic to each other, the seme is VERY GOOD towards the uke i love him sm. they got the happy ending they deserved, give it a read! its so so good

they did meet up again on their next life didn’t they

but we dont really get to see that right, the whole story is focused on the first life and the second life was kind of just an add-on, i dont think we even get to see them as grown in the second life

i think it’s up to the readers how they take the ending? they meet eo again and to me that is a happy ending as they are able to see eo again under different situations from their previous life. you can say it as an open ending but i do believe they are able to achieve their happy ending thru the second life and the fact they both remembered each other as soon as they see eo + saying they will be living an ordinary life in this lifetime while they are basically in each other’s arms screams they are happy w eo didn’t they? this is just the way i see the ending

agree to disagree i guess, i always saw it as more bittersweet than happy but yeah i guess it depends on the reader
