I mean, might be cultural, in my country we don't have that term you used, nor any similar, we also have many things in place to help the homeless find shelter, a place to clean up, money help, a job, etc. Might be why I'm weirded out by the comments tbh
But tbh, my comment was more on the judging point, I mean, we're all out there reading yaois, that means we should be for everyone loving who they love, so who are we to judge one preference, that might be just me though
(And because I know some of you (general you) I mean obviously within the boundaries of consent and legal age, and moslty meant physical preferences)

Love is love, BL has indirectly taught us to love whom your whole being desires but we also must weigh in things and judge things accordingly to how your decisions will not put you in danger. and the man is shown to be Homeless and with a mysterious background, we do not know how clean his records are. so naturally, readers will be on high alert mode since realistically, hobos that a bad reputation and caused people who took them in be in jeopardy thus the disdain for them even how hot they are.
but people are free to goon their physical preferences.
Everyone judging others for finding the homeless guy hot, but a hot man is still a hot man even if life gave him a finger. Some of y'all lowkey sound like you're saying a man (or woman) don’t deserve love just because they don't have a roof over their head or the means to take care of themselves
