Yes. There are already clues that it is a past life. In ep96, at the beginning of the episode, Ines has a dream while she’s dying and she sees a memory of her teenage self and teenage Cárcel at a lake in Esposa. In this current timeline, Ines and Carcel never courted especially when they were teenagers so it cannot be a vision from this current timeline. Fortunately, the next episode that will be released this Saturday will confirm it’s a past life. The Korean episodes are ahead of the English episodes.
