I usually prefer when the villain is stopped in their plans. When the villain is setup to commit a crime it doesn't feel all that rewarding when they're caught.

Yeah i don't mind that at all. I think they did something similar to Mielle in the villainess reverses the hourglass. But they did hint at the fact that they were setting her up.so it was also kinda underwhelming
