FUCKING SAME bro, Rishar has got to be the most impatient motherfucker Ive ever seen. Like they need to minimalize risks and if that involves marrying Antoine who fucking cares they can get divorced after bro if the engagement lasts longer than their plan

Yes, Rishar got what he deserved. He didn’t get the news because he went radio silent out of petty bs, but somehow it’s Etienne’s fault? He just seems to want his cake and eat it too. He loves to tell Etienne not to do things because it’s not safe for him to be discovered, but then gets mad at Etienne whenever he makes choices Richard doesn’t like necessitated by those same dangers.
Richard is out here whining about his sad hurt feelings as if Etienne had any choice in the engagement.
Etienne is literally being poisoned against his will every day and isn’t able to do anything about it. He is likely sterile and slated for a premature death from years of damage, And Rishar wants him to throw a tantrum at his psychotic mother to stop the engagement because feelings? Just very self centered

Apparently he's not like that in the novel, why why WHY did they divert!?!? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
