Author wrote that season 3 will be more passionate and less dark so i don't think Brett is not goint to play hard to get for long.

I get what you’re saying, you liked his vibe more before, but the thing is, he’s different now because he’s in love. When they went to the cinema, he was not only angry but also still unsure about the relationship. Now he’s fully aware that he likes Brett and that he wants him, which makes it so much scarier to lose him and I think that’s why he’s acting more like a puppy.
