Yeah :D like maybe Amon was sent to deal with the demons killing mortals by heaven's bureaucracy (since he's God of War) and kept the demon population controlled. On one of his campaigns, he ran into an Earth god (Nain) and fell in love at some point, creating and giving him Trastasa since he isn't good as displaying love or showing it. Nain was smitten with this gift and accepted The God of War as his lawful Consort!
Nain only knew Earth and grew to love Humans while Amon grew up in the heavens and view mortals as small ants with only 1 purpose; to serve. Though, eventually things got boring, leaving Nain fatigue. Perhaps Gwen is reigniting his love for mortals again without realizing it.
That's possibly why he views himself as a human even though Amon reminds him he is not.
But that's a theory.
I think nain is a real god bc how could he be so merciful even when he grew up with everyone around him death and people's lives mean nothing and even encourage him to take it himself but he's still so gentle despite not having anyone to influence this thought to him he gotta be the god of peace
